Well, we hope you're not going to have any problems. Please don't get discouraged if you are, remember we're just a toll free phone call away..... 1- 866 MIB CLUB
We wanted to show you what the actual screens looked like while explaining in a bit more detail what you are looking at, and how to accomplish the same. After arriving on the "Chatroom" page, you'll want to scroll on down to the bottom of the page and sign in with a username of your choosing. At this point there is nothing to do but type in a name and click on log in. (you don't have to have a username - the default name is "guest") Remember, if you don't see this screen at the bottom of the "Chatroom" page, go visit www.java.com and download their latest version - otherwise you won't be able to even see the chatroom much less get in it.
Go ahead and sign in with any name you wish, click on the green arrow to enter into the chatroom.
You now see a welcome message, our logo to the right, some symbols and a message box along the bottom, and the thick bold blue line along the top. The next thing you'll want to do for the best view of the marble pictures and the chatroom at the same time is to detach the chatroom from it's underlying web page.
Click on the "float" symbol (looks like two pieces of paper) next to the "question mark" and the chatroom will detach from the underlying web page. Please note the question mark is also the chatroom's "help" button, if you should want to know more about the features of this chatroom, or my explanation has you confused, you can click on this button to learn more. (it will take you to the software company's web site)
After the chatroom has floated off the underlying page you can move it around your monitor's screen. You do this by placing your cursor on the thick blue line at the top, click and hold the left button on your mouse, and "drag" the chatroom wherever you want it. In the picture above we have placed it on the bottom right.
And here it is moved over to the top left of the page using the same "drag" motion while holding down the left button on your mouse. (remember, your cursor must be placed over the thick blue line at the top)
If you place your cursor on the thin blue lines right at the edges of the chatroom window, a "double" arrow will appear. In this picture we've placed our cursor on the thin blue line at the bottom of the page. If you use the same "drag" movement as before when the double arrow symbol is shown, you will be able to resize the chatroom to any dimension you like to fit your monitor. Placing your cursor along the left or right edge of the window will allow you to resize the window's width, and placing the cursor on the bottom will resize it's length. (again, remember you must hold the left click button down after you get the "double arrow" symbol seen in the picture above)
Here it has been "resized" to fit the screen in a left to right format. We first moved the floating chatroom near the top right, then placed our cursor at the thin blue line at the bottom and resized the windows length. We then resized it's width to fit approxiamtely half of our montior's screen. Please note the original chatroom page that the chatroom itself was "floated" off of earlier is still seen in the background. Do not close this page or you will be disconnected - if you are disconnected it's no big deal just sign back in and start over.
You'll notice in the top right corner of the chatroom our logo, this is a clickable link that will open up the Gallery page with the marbles in another window which you will then move and resize to fit the other half of your monitor's screen. There is a known problem however having to do with "pop ups" which most people have blocked by default which keeps the Gallery page from opening up. If you have "pop ups" blocked you'll have to go back to the underlying page the chatroom was first on and click on the large GALLERY link, this will open up another window just like clicking on the logo will. If you want to allow pop ups it's a relatively easy matter to click on the TOOLS tab at the top of any Internet window, scroll down to INTERNET PROPERTIES and then click on the PRIVACY tab, you'll see a little box that has a green check mark on it, the box states "enable pop up blocker" - uncheck that box and all pop ups will work including our logo link. Again, you don't need to do this but many folks have wondered why the logo link doesn't work for them and it's because they have Pop Up blockers enabled.
You're now going to "resize" the Gallery window to fit the space remaining on your monitor, leave a thin gap between the two windows otherwise you might not be able to see them both at the same time. You resize the Gallery exactly like you did the Chatroom, click on your mouse - and while holding the button down, make the window larger or smaller. We think it's best to make your Chatroom and Gallery resized to fit the screen in a left to right format but you can resize and move the two windows around for a top to bottom view.
Remember you'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the Gallery page in order to click on Page 1, 2, or 3, etc....in order to bring up the photos and descriptions.
Now you are able to see the Gallery pictures and participate in the chatroom at the same time. You will have to go back and forth continually scrolling down through the auction lots, but you would have to do that regardless of the chatroom set up. Have fun and Good Luck!
P.S. Remember, you'll actually have three windows open, one is the original Chatroom page - don't close it or you'll be booted. Two is the "floated" chatroom that you can move around and resize, and the third window is the Gallery which again can be moved around and resized to fit your needs. Don't let the floating chatroom and the gallery page touch or you won't be able to see them both at the same time.
If you should get booted off the chatroom for any reason, you will have to go through the process of entering the chatroom but when you "float" it off the page and open up the Gallery they should go back just like to left them. On a positive note, you will not have to sign in with a different name cause your original one is now a "ghost" after being booted, this software allows a "ghost" to come back to life so to speak. :-) Finally, if you want to open a third window for whatever reason, you can do that from the chatroom also. Just click on the button that says "Help", it will open up a window containing the chatroom software manufacturer's web site. From there you can navigate anywhere on the internet you would like to. You'll find that we have disconnected the "right click" feature on your mouse. If you have any problems whatsoever please don't hesitate to contact us BEFORE the auction starts.
